Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Nursery and Preschool Streatham Common 

Monkey Puzzle West Norwood and Streatham Common nurseries and preschools are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nurseries for children aged three months to five years old.  We recognise the critical role early childhood plays in a child’s overall growth and future success.

We offer your children the chance to learn and play in calming surroundings which have been specifically designed to create a loving, homely and safe environment for your child. Our focus centres on providing a nurturing environment that stimulates children’s development, fosters their well-being, and helps them thrive both emotionally and intellectually.

We aim to raise the bar and push childcare standards to new heights for nurseries in SW16. We aspire to be the best nursery and best preschool in Streatham and have had great success in ensuring all our children are fully prepared for when they eventually graduate to their next school.

The nursery was chosen for its perfect location, in a safe and secure location directly opposite Streatham Common allowing us easy access to the large outdoor space every day. We are great lovers of the outdoors, we love a nature trail as well as organising fun and exciting multi sport activities with fantastic extracurricular activity providers like Totstars coaches to keep children engaged and stimulated. Inside our beautifully transformed nursery, we can offer new, high-quality learning resources and developmental principles.

All of our rooms and resources are designed to offer a safe and secure environment for your little one to develop and learn through play. We have dedicated rooms for our age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our facilities are designed to be accessible to every child.

Amazing extra curricular activities

Monkey Puzzle Streatham Common offers wide range of extracurricular activities for our children to enjoy.

From physical activities like Totstars to additional languages, everything is specially curated to cater for young minds and help them develop and grow. All activities are led by trained teachers who are specialist in their areas.

Alongside our amazing activities, we are delighted to be welcoming La Ola Spanish in March 2024 to bring their amazing musical Spanish lessons to our children in Streatham Common

Onsite chef created delicious meals every day

All of our meals and snacks are prepared onsite by our in house chef, ensuring we provide delicious and nutritious food every day.

Our menu is specially curated by Zita Steyn, a holistic food specialist, allowing us to give our children incredible food experiences to help them develop their tastes and discover what foods that love.

Full of fresh ingredients, our meals are perfect for growing children.

Newly transformed and refurbished, Monkey Puzzle Streatham Common offers spacious rooms, full of natural life.

Each room is fully equipped with age appropriate resources making them perfect for the age groups that spend their time in them.

All of our spaces are air conditioned meaning they’re ready for any weather and always welcoming when the children arrive for the day.

Regular outings to Streatham Common

Time outside in the Sun and fresh air are important to development for early years children.

Due to our close proximity to Streatham Common, all of our children benefit from the opportunities to explore our local park every where.

From sports days in the Summer, trips to the playground and visits to just spend time under the trees and in nature.

The very youngest children at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Streatham spend their time in our specially designed Babies’ room, welcoming children from the age of three months to two years.

My name is Sheena Patel. I am a dedicated mother, qualified physiotherapist and the owner of Monkey Puzzle Streatham Common and Monkey Puzzle West Norwood.

Becoming a mum ten years ago made me reconsider my career aspirations. I watched my children develop and grow and my experience was eye-opening, igniting my passion for early years learning. When looking for a nursery, I always felt they could do more and provide better opportunities for my children. This motivated me to open my own nursery, aiming to create a special place where families could get the same inspirational childcare that I wanted for my children.

Young children thrive on care and attention. They give so much love back when you are part of this positive experience. I promise you Streatham Common will give this to your children like they were our own. We want you to have the peace of mind that your little ones will be given everything they need to learn, develop and thrive.
